American Express is still under an RBI ban from issuing new cards. But, that means they will have to work harder to keep existing customers with offers. The latest in line is a revision of the Gold Collection redemption options. Amex has now added new gift vouchers for the 18K and 24K Gold Collection redemptions. Here are the details:

Statement Credit Option going away from 03-May-2022
While the new Gold Collection looks good, the statement credit option is going away from 03-May-2022. So, if you prefer statement credit then do a redemption option before that date.
Final Thoughts

The new Gold Collection options definitely make the redemptions more lucrative. The redemption option with the best value continues to be Taj GV.
The removal of the statement credit option is not that bad as we used to get better value with other options. So, it is not going to have much of an impact. Amex MRCC and Gold Charge cards continue to have a great return rate with many more redemption options.
