AU Bank Zenith Credit Card: Rewards

For a card charging Rs 2999 annual fee, the reward rates are quite low. 0.25% to 1% is less than what LTF cards like the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card offers.

Quarterly Milestone Rewards

  • 500 bonus RP on spends of Rs 50,000 in a calendar quarter
  • Additional 1000 bonus RP on spends of Rs 1 Lakh in a calendar quarter

1500 bonus RP is worth Rs 375. This adds an extra return of 0.375% to your spends. For spending Rs 1 Lakh in a calendar quarter, the rewards need to be much higher!

Yearly Milestone Rewards

  • Rs 1000 gift voucher on Rs 2.5 Lakhs spend in a membership year

This adds an extra return of 0.4%. Including all milestone rewards, the max return will still be less than 2% which is less than what many cashback credit cards offer.

Final Thoughts

If you are getting the Vetta as LTF, then it is a decent card to have. You can use it for railway and airport lounge access. But, if you are getting this with the annual fee, then it is not worth it.

We have many LTF credit cards that can give you a better return on your spending. Some options are SBI Cashback, Axis Ace, or even Flipkart Axis Bank credit card. All these come with a lower annual fee.

  1. Hey, recently I checked the Rewardz section, and the vouchers are Rs. 500/- for 2500 points. Almost all vouchers seem to have equivalent value (5 RP per Rupee, instead of 4 RP). This makes each RP worth 20 paise. Please verify and update!

Yes, vouchers now give you a value of 20 paise per RP. Other options still give you 25 paise per RP.
