Bank of Baroda has launched two new super premium debit cards for its HNI customers. Both debit cards offer some of the best benefits that we see only on super-premium credit cards like Axis Reserve and Magnus. Here is everything we know about the two new launches – the BoB World Opulence (Metal Edition) and the BoB World Sapphire debit cards.
BoB World Opulence Debit Card (Metal Edition)
This is a top-end premium debit card launched on the Visa Infinite platform.

- Room upgrades, late checkouts, and complimentary benefits at select hotels, which are a part of the Visa Luxury Hotel Collection
The unlimited airport lounge access for both domestic and international airport lounges is a great feature. If someone does not want to have credit cards for airport lounge access, this is the debit card to have.
The complimentary airport pickup and drop service are what the Axis Reserve offers. There is a cap on the number of services but it is not clear from the released info yet. While the features look great, they come at a high cost. The joining and annual fee for the BoB Opulence debit card is Rs 9500 plus taxes per year! That is Rs 11210 per year.
BoB World Sapphire Debit Card
This is an affordable debit card after we saw the annual fee of Opulence DC. Here are the features:

- Offers from Premium Brands: such as Satya Paul, Truefitt & Hill, Brooks Brothers, and House of Masaba
- Room upgrades, late checkouts, and complimentary benefits at select hotels, which are a part of the Visa Luxury Hotel Collection
- Rs. 750/- welcome voucher from the Lifestyle brand
- Benefits exclusively for women: Offers on brands such as Label Ritu Kumar, Kalki Fashion, and Sonata
- Benefits exclusively for men: Offers on brands such as Rare Rabbit, Raymond, and Arvind Fashions (Includes premium brands such as US Polo Association, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Aeropostale, Arrow, etc)
The joining and annual fee for the BoB World Sapphire debit card is Rs 750 plus taxes.

Is LTF possible for these debit cards either via some corporate company offer/high income document or anything similar, just like Eterna card is LTF for >30LPA income?
