Like last year, IndusInd has brought milestone spending based bonus rewards where you can get upto 4X rewards once you cross your credit card specific spending thresholds. IndusInd Diwali spending offers are more lucrative as it allows the credit card rewards to be redeemed as statement credit.

- Eligibility – To opt into the offer, SMS JOIN to 5676757 from your registered mobile number. IndusInd Bank sends a response with an unique registration number confirming participation. The offer is not valid unless you opt in and IndusInd assigns this unique registration number.

Effective Returns
I have an IndusInd Iconia AMEX credit card which gives 2 reward points for every Rs 100 spend over weekends. Each reward point worth Rs 1. So if I cross my spend milestones and maximize bonus reward points till 15000, the return works out to be approximately 6.2%. Not that bad, as it is a statement credit that can be done directly.
