Amazon Pay GV workaround

As maximize money has stopped / removed the CC option from max-hotels Amazon Pay GV webpage, what are the next best alternatives to earn 5% edge miles on Axis Atlas?

Also, all the GVs are loaded in the Amazon Gift Card balance and not Amazon Pay Balance. Please differentiate where we can use the Amazon Pay Balance(and if it is useful) or just load GV in Amazon Pay Gift Card section and keep using it. Thanks.

P S. - Share alternatives for platforms where I can even get 2% miles.
