Can I get ICICI emeralde private metal if I don't havean account with them?

Hi folks,first post so please be gentle if I missed any rule.

Basically, can/how-do I get emeralde EPM if I don't have an account with ICICI. I just have their amazon pay ltf card so my relationship value would be pretty low. I should fulfill the salary related criteria (guessing since I didn't have much trouble with infinia). I

Account yes. At what TRV it’ll get issued to you is entirely subjective.
 
Account is a must basically for ishop login. Depends on the RM as it's a card which is in the hands of RM and the eligibility of course. But if you have Infinia, then this card can be a hit and miss.

Got in contact with ICICI and got an account for now atleast. The guy I was talking to told me that I would need a relationship value of 50lakhs along with my income. He however, wasn't really clear on how to best build up the relationship value. He has suggested opening some FDs and "see" which I am not a fan of tbh. I'll connect with him again next week and update here if I get some more info

Nope if you meet salary criteria you don't need to have a relationship value. He is just trying to get more things this way.
 
Had a chat with my RM and her branch's credit card guy. They are pretty adamant about maintaining a pretty high TRV. I think I can contact other RM for this. I've seen other people in this forum sharing contacts so I'll try with that route for now

If you want I can share my RM details. He can help you maybe but emeralde is purely in hands of the RM and they can play the customer however they want. This is from my observation and what I'm seeing with my people wanting this card.
 
@Bazinga please and thank you. My RM is probably just inexperienced as she keeps forwarding me to her branch's credit card guy(who clearly wants commission). I'm okay with easier demands like opening a demat etc
