Enable fuel payments for IDFC FASTag

Have anyone faced issues with IDFC Fastag payment on HP pump?

Already loaded IDFC Fastag. It shows in HP Pay App, while scanning QR on DT machine, all payment options appear and there we can see payment via Fastag, but as soon as I do that, and put the OTP in, it throws some 808 error.

Do we have to activate the fuel payment thing by sending email and calling CC like ICICI Fastag? Please clarify based on experience. @asktriman @JonSnow @Mayank

Means? I created login and applied from there only and then downloaded app. Do I need to do some sort of activation?

Also, the KYV is pending, KYC is done. Can that be the blocker?
 
Small but important update:

I wasn't incorporating the minimum balance that need to stay in FasTag, and hence the error came up everytime. Customer care guy enlightened me.

So, now I ensure at least 200 rs must be there, after I pay for Petrol via FasTag, to let transaction go through seamlessly.
