Yes, HDFC is all fucked up!. I was in India in June for a month and sent them LE request letter by post with all the forms duly signed. I came back here and then I receivedd the email stating this "Duly signed declaration" crap. Seems like India is going digital and HDFC is moving towards stone age.

I was able to get compensation of Rs 1000 from HDFC via escalation to RBI. Not linked to card but for deficiency in service. This was 2 years back.
