Mobikwik increases wallet load fee - Free 1K load discontinued too!

Mobikwik delivers a double blow! I can no longer load ₹1K into my wallet as I used to every month, and on top of that, the convenience fee has increased from 2.95% to 3.127%.

Yes it has been for a while now. Noticed since the start of this month.
 
With Amex Gyftr not having 1000 denomination for Amazon Pay, this is a bigger deal. Looks like I will have to close down Amex as I am struggling to use it!

Yes if one is solely relying on reward multiplier then it can pose an issue sooner or later. Better to find avenues to spend the same especially online or on day to day items.
 
Agree and even I am thinking of closing all Amex cards except may be MRCC just to retain the relationship. It is getting difficult to spend on Amex now.
