Milestone Rewards
We get gift vouchers worth Rs 1000 on spends of Rs 1 Lakh and above in each calendar quarter. This translates to an average spend of Rs 25000 each month, which is achievable. The milestone benefit increases the cashback rate by another 1% return.
SmartBuy Rewards
Millennia is also eligible for SmartBuy platform. Cashback on SmartBuy transactions is capped at Rs 1000/calendar month for HDFC Bank Millennia credit card.

Rewards Redemption
The eligible cashback for Millennia credit card transactions is given in the form of cashback points. We need a minimum of 500 cash points for redemption. The cash points are valid for 2 years from the accumulation date.
There are two options for redemption – statement credit or flights/hotel booking on SmartBuy. Redemption for flights/hotels on SmartBuy is not worth going for as we can get cashback at 1:1 value.

Complimentary Airport Lounge Access
Millennia’s complimentary airport lounge access program has changed now. We now get 1 domestic lounge visit per quarter but it is now bundled into the milestone benefit. This means, you now have to choose one option between the Rs 1000 GV or airport lounge access once you are eligible for the milestone benefit.
For example in the January to March quarter, you spend more than Rs 1 Lakh. HDFC Bank will send you a SMS that you are eligible for milestone benefits. Upon logging in, you will need to choose one from the airport lounge access voucher or the gift voucher. It is highly likely everyone will choose the Rs 1000 GV as we can get airport lounge access on other credit/debit cards.
If you choose the airport lounge access voucher, you will receive a digital DreamFolks QR code over email. This code is valid for 90 days and can be used at the below airport lounges.

Final Thoughts
With the new changes, Millennia is now in the same league as Flipkart Axis and Amazon Pay ICICI credit cards. The key difference is that Millennia has a cap on cashback rewards. But, if your transactions are not going to hit the cashback cap then this is now a good card for shopping.
Another better alternative for the HDFC Bank Millennia credit card is the newly launched SBI Cashback card. It offers 5% cashback on all online transactions except few categories like education, utilities and wallets. So, do check it out too.

The offer to get LTF with Smartpay or add-ons is paused for now.
Now, you can get LTF based on your employer or pre-approved offer.
