Smartbuy is the leader when it comes to earning accelerated rewards on HDFC credit cards. After all, there are few cards that can match the 10X reward points on its super-premium credit cards. We have seen some devaluation over the years for Smartbuy. But, almost every month HDFC Bank does a Smartbuy Extra Savings Days for 3 to 4 days. During this time, we get a higher reward multiplier and discounts for ‘extra savings’.

My Take
For Infinia/DCB cardholders, this is a great way to accumulate reward points on regular transactions. 10X on instant vouchers can be utilized to load up on different brands for use later.
I generally try to delay Smartbuy purchases and wait for Extra Savings Days offer to get the extra return on my transactions. So, go ahead and use that HDFC Bank credit card for ‘extra savings’.
