HDFC Bank is one of the few credit card issuers which regularly gives spend-based offers for all its card variants. This is the second consecutive month (March 2021 offer) for which I have got the spend offer. Here is the spend offer details from HDFC credit cards for April 2021.

While it is good to see HDFC Bank being aggressive in sending out spend-based offers, the spend requirements this month are quite steep for me. It is a 3X increase in spend target from last month. The good news is if I manage to reach the target, the gift voucher is worth Rs 7000. Interestingly, HDFC Bank has sent the offer quite late this time. I received the email only today with spends eligible from 12th April onwards. Normally, it used to be from the 5th of the month.
The reward rate is also pretty good for this offer at 7.3% (close to 4% from voucher + 3.3% regular rewards). The other change compared to last month is Big Bazaar/Big Basket options are out and are replaced by Flipkart/Myntra. It is a welcome change as I always prefer vouchers which can be used online plus Big Basket is not available in all cities.
