What Has Changed?
Earlier, Brand Voucher purchases made through GyFTR and Woohoo could contribute towards the entire monthly SmartBuy accelerated reward cap.
With the revised terms:
- Brand Voucher purchases now have a separate monthly cap.
- Premium HDFC cards can earn a maximum of 3000 bonus Reward Points per calendar month from GyFTR and Woohoo vouchers.
- Once this cap is reached, additional voucher purchases will earn only the base reward rate.

The 3000 Bonus Reward Point cap is included within the overall monthly SmartBuy reward cap and does not increase the maximum rewards you can earn each month.
How the New GyFTR & Woohoo Cap Affects You
For many HDFC premium cardholders, buying Amazon Pay, Flipkart, Swiggy, Zomato, Myntra and other vouchers through GyFTR or Woohoo was one of the easiest ways to maximize SmartBuy rewards.
Previously, users could earn accelerated Reward Points on voucher purchases until they exhausted their overall SmartBuy monthly cap.
Now, only the first 3000 bonus Reward Points each month can come from Brand Vouchers. Any remaining accelerated rewards must be earned through other SmartBuy categories.

Does This Mean SmartBuy Has Been Devalued?
