IndusInd Bank Pinnacle Credit Card Review

IndusInd Bank Pinnacle credit card is one of the premium offerings from IndusInd Bank. It comes with a joining fee of Rs 15,000+GST. The joining fee is set off against the gift vouchers welcome benefit. From the second year onwards, there is no annual fee on the Pinnacle credit card. Pinnacle offers us 2.5% reward points on online e-commerce transactions and 1% reward points on offline spends. The benefits offered by the IndusInd Bank Pinnacle credit card include domestic and international airport lounge access, BookMyShow BOGO offer and a fuel surcharge waiver.

Fees

In line with IndusInd Bank’s other credit card offerings, there is no annual fee for the Pinnacle credit card. We need to pay the joining fees and we get gift vouchers against it. Below are the current fees and offer for this card.

The online vouchers can be redeemed for Amazon or Flipkart vouchers. The offline vouchers include brands like Bata, Pantaloons, Titan, and Hidesign. We can choose any brand combinations of offline vouchers from the available options on Gyftr once we get the voucher codes.

If you have some shopping planned, offline vouchers are a better option as we get a higher value. In this case, the effective fees for the Pinnacle card reduces to the GST outgo of Rs 2700.

BookMyShow BOGO Offer

Each reward point is equal to 75 paise for a statement credit and 1 Airmiles for transfer to partners. We can redeem the reward points for:

Pros and Cons

Final Thoughts

IndusInd Pinnacle offers decent rewards and benefits for a premium credit card. But, there are some spends like utility bills where we get 0.7% rewards. IndusInd Bank could have kept this at 2% with some upper cap to curb misuse. On the rewards front, cards like Amazon Pay ICICI and Flipkart Axis are better at rewards. So, the only differentiating factors are benefits like redemption options and lounge access.

As there is no annual fee and we can get this card at an effective Rs 2700, this is still a good deal. We can also take advantage of the occasional spend offers during the festival season and also get the zero AMB Exclusive savings account.
