SBI SimplyCLICK Credit Card Review: Rewards

As the name ‘SimplyCLICK’ suggests, this card is for online shopping with a 1.25% to 2.5% reward rate. There is no benefit in using this card for any offline buy with the low 0.25% reward rate. So, go with this card only for online purchases.

Monthly Cap on Accelerated Rewards

  • Cumulative 10X Reward Points on online spending with partners: Max 10000 RP every calendar month
  • Cumulative 5X Reward Points on other online spends: Max 10000 RP every calendar month

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, the SBI SimplyCLICK Credit Card is a feature-rich credit card that caters to the needs of online shoppers. Whether you are a frequent online shopper or someone looking to start their online shopping journey, the SBI SimplyCLICK Credit Card can be a great choice. With its accelerated rewards program, milestone rewards, fuel surcharge waiver, and welcome offer, it provides cardholders with a range of benefits and incentives.

When taking on a new credit card, we should ensure three things – it should be easy to get approved for, it should preferably be LTF and have a fee waiver, and finally, card rewards should be good. It ticks all these boxes, which is what makes the SBI SimplyCLICK credit card a great choice for almost everyone.

For similar rewards, you can consider Axis Ace, which offers 2% rewards for all purchases. The SBI Cashback card also offers a higher cashback than SimplyCLICK. During sales, however, SBI Cashback will not be able to take advantage of 10% instant discounts, while SimplyCLICK will.

  1. Hi

You have an excellent forum for information on credit cards. Just want to ask a question on this simplyclick card – can this card be converted to Rupay credit card by Sbicard app? My friend told me it can be done. If yes , Then rewards will remain the same as mentioned for this card or will they be changed also.

    Thanks
    Pavan

SBI SimplyCLICK is not available on RuPay yet. SimplySAVE is the one available on RuPay.

  2. Poetmaster

SBI Simply Click now doesnt give reward point if used for instant discount on any sale etc
So if you buy something on big billion sale, you get no reward points
If the system automatically assigns rewards points, they will claim it back

This makes the card useless in my eyes

    1. Card Maven

This is part of their T&C for all their cards now. The ideal way would have been to not assign the reward points for these transactions at all.

    1. There is no exclusion in T&C for government payments. So online income tax payments should accrue 5X RP.

  3. What about a redemption fees of 99 (+GST?)?

How it is calculated i.e each time (redemption of 10000 points) OR 99 for each 2000 points redemption?

  4. i’m interested in this card but cleartrip voucher seem waste for me can i swap for some other reward? have anyone requested?

    1. Card Maven

Unfortunately, no. SBI Card does not give any choice in this. Wish they would replace it with Amazon. 🙂

  5. I got the mail with link for redemption of 1500 Myntra voucher….how ever the message not fully delivered and link I could not see……kindly help me how to get that redemption link

  6. Ranjeet Kumar

    Dear Sir,
I have completed the transaction of 20000 through my SBI card.
Please tell me the process to claim the Myntra Gift voucher.

    1. Card Maven

Hi Ranjeet – SBI Card will be communicating the Myntra Gift voucher details by SMS/Email once the offer fulfillment period ends. The current offer is running up to 7th June and the voucher will be sent by 22nd July 2021.
