Limit Required to Upgrade in Axis Bank Cards & Other Queries

What is the minimum limit required to upgrade to these Axis Bank cards ?

Axis Bank Privilege Card
Axis Bank Select Card
Axis Bank Rewards Card
Samsung Signature Card
Axis Bank Neo Credit Card

Also, i currently hold these Axis Cards : Flipkart Axis PAID ( Not Closing) , Myzone LTF, IOCL Rupay PAID , Which one out of myzone and iocl should i immediately close or upgrade and which axis card should i upgrade or apply for?

I also hold Tata Neu Plus Card for UPI ( as main motive behind getting Axis IOCL was UPI )

I’m looking for one best Axis Reward Point card, with fees not more than ₹3000 : Not a traveler!

Any other suggestions are appreciated!

Sharad I don’t think the limit requirements are known.

But for one of my family members having Axis Select Card (via Burgundy) with Limit of 3L, could see options to upgrade to Samsung Signature as well as Neo. Others, don’t remember as were not in my radar

Agree with [Login to see the link], you should close these paid cards or try to make them LTF if retention team offers

For rewards other than travelling one, Good choice would be cashback cards.
the cards you mentioned arent great rewards as per me.
but i would recommend you to close the IOCL since its a paid card and keep the Myzone which is LTF
try to get the cashback cards eg SBi cashback or Axis Ace.

Which card should i close ( which one is absolutely trash ? { i do not use swiggy ) i mostly do online shopping)

so that i can get better axis cards? or should i wait for automatic limit enhancement?

i am currently being offered card upgrade to Axis Neo, Samsung Signature and Axis Aura cards on both the indian oil and Myzone card

need to apply for other bank cards C2C and my limit is too low!

Since you are already having and axis Bank card, C2C will not work. You may have to request for a Credit limit enhancement before you get a new card.

I would Target to close paid cards especially that doesn’t offer much.since I don’t see any big edge rewards card, hence the Axis IO card seems not worth. You might get at Max 1000 ER points for fuels in Indian oil pumps every month implies 200 Rs. Your fuel usage in Indian oil pump should determine your decision.
Flipkart is also like wise. It has a High value to get fee waiver (2L). Unless you are heavy Flipkart user, this is also a simple one. Though the 1.5% cashback on other expenses does take care of annual fees, but that depends on which other card you have and how much you spend on this card. I cancelled my Paid FK card, because I was using magnus for my expenses and now Atlas.

HarishRaj Just one update. C2C to get a new Axis Bank credit card with another higher limit credit card works even if we already have another Axis Bank credit card.

HarishRaj Actually for now i don’t have any fuel spends, but i am thinking to buy a 2 wheeler in under 1 month, so my monthly fuel spends would be ~ ₹4000 !

Flipkart card i am thinking to keep as i shop from flipkart mainly

Ok that’s sound good. Is the new limit generally matching the card used for C2C or it an independent amount greater than current axis Bank card?

HarishRaj They try to match the card used for C2C. Last time I used, they gave 75% of the limit in the other card.

Sharad You can close FK really. Rather Get SBI CB. Then, you can keep Axis Atlas card & IOCL card. These 3 combinations are enough for all spends. you can call CC and if you limit is more than 2 lakhs you get Atlas card as add on.

In october i tried applying for sbi cashback but since i live in tier 2 city, my area is not serviceable, but i tried my relatives pincode of kanpur, the process went through but at last they asked me for biometric,but since i was not there in my relative address, i left the process there, so i think c2c would be a better option.

I am not into air travel so axis atlas is a big no

Thinking to stop using flipkart axis and Myzone card for 1-2 months

My main spends : Online Shopping, Rent, UPI, Fuel ( Soon ), utilities

Also since i got flipkart axis without income docs and i just recently got a job ( my salary is very less, but my financial condition is quite good 🙂

I have asked many questions here but seems no one is able to help, i need someone to tell me exact thing to do or at least a perfect solution

Sharad At the moment, there is no C2C option for SBI Cashback credit card. Only option is to apply via Sprint.

As you are not into travel, ignore Axis Atlas. Also, don’t think any of the Axis credit card options you have listed above are useful if you are looking for non travel rewards.

You can close MyZone LTF. Keep Flipkart Axis. Also, keep IOCL Rupay if you are able to use it for your fuel spends. If you are keeping it for UPI, close it as it is not beneficial. See if you can get the Airtel Axis credit card.

What is your current limit on the Tata Neu Plus credit card?

Sharad I didn’t face any issue while getting SBI CC. I live in a tier 3 city and don’t any account with them. We have a branch in my area though. I have applied on the website. They didn’t ask any additional information or didn’t do any video KYC if I remember correctly, just the application form on the website.

CardMaven my cibil has always been 750+ with no late payments, when i applied for cards , but still HDFC gave me shameless limit of ₹10,000 , i don’t know what’s the problem.

i don’t know whether closing Axis Myzone which is LTF and a core card of axis would be beneficial for me for LIMIT ENHANCEMENTS AND INSTANT DISCOUNTS

Sharad its very common with HDFC. they give very low limits unless you have any banking relationship with them directly. Slowly, for every 6 months, they roll out card upgradation and limit enhancement based on your usage of the card.

tssrao yep expecting the same from them , otherwise will have to create an hdfc account for alteast preapproved millenia card ( my wish ) with good limit.

Mostly yes. But, not sure how to check this. I saw SBI card sales agents in front of nearby ATM many times.

Finally, I have decided to close Myzone LTF very soon and if the IOCL card will not fulfill my fuel spending maybe in the coming months, will close that too!

after that, I will try to negotiate to make my Flipkart card LTF after 1-2 months or probably before card renewal.

will try to get Axis Ace or Axis Airtel for my utility spending ( this time probably they will offer me better card limit than exiting 15k :]

Sharad Axis ACE and Airtel Axis are difficult to get though unless you have pre-approved offer. think once again before closing if you really want ACE/Airtel.
