My sbi Elite card was suo moto deactivated by sbi card team as I was looking to close my other card i.e. simply save as my request to flip to cashback was not acceded to.
So my track service request option shows SR number of 4th April showing card closure request for my Elite card which I have not requested and it might have been submitted due to technical issues may be as I was looking for closure options for my simply save card.
The request for closing save card was submitted on 09th April and my annual fee was refunded as I took that option.
For the elite card closure, neither did I recieve any text message of service request nor any email or call. Today around three o clock , I received a call which I could not pick, Truecaller confirmed sbi card is the caller, after a few seconds received we could not process your card request then received your card ending with XXXX closed as per the SR number generated on 11th April through helpline.
I requested for reactivation and raised my issue with CC team they are clueless told card closed and reapply.
Now I have emailed PNO and submitted details of the issue faced by me.

Also as per the FAQs on the website, it says card permanently closed can be reactivated within 3 months.
Please guide as I was caught unaware, will my card will be reactivated, I was so close for annual fee waiver.
