Citibank has just sent out a spend offer for credit cards. This one is targeted towards inactive credit cards probably to lift average spends on the cards. This makes sense as Citi India looking to exit its domestic business and would need the credit card business to be in good shape for potential buyers. Similar to the last spend offer, the July 2021 spend offer for Citibank credit cards is for Amazon gift cards.

This is the second spend offer (first offer was in April) that I have received from Citibank this year.
While we will not see the name Citibank on credit cards soon, it is still good to see Citibank getting into the spend offer game. The target is also quite achievable with normal spends over the 30 day offer duration.
The bonus reward rate is a decent 5%.
P.S. – Wallet loads are not excluded from eligible spends and Citibank also has an integration with Paytm for loading wallets. 🙂
