The YES BANK Marquee Credit Card is the bank’s flagship super-premium credit card, positioned above the YES BANK Reserv Credit Card. It is designed for high spenders, offering a strong combination of reward points, travel benefits, airport lounge access, golf privileges, and lifestyle perks.
The card comes with a joining fee of ₹9999 + GST and an annual renewal fee of ₹4999 + GST. Cardholders receive 40,000 Reward Points as a welcome benefit, while the renewal fee is waived on annual spends of ₹10 lakh. On paper, the Marquee offers one of the most rewarding premium credit card propositions in its fee segment, but whether it justifies a place in your wallet depends on how you use its benefits.

|---|---|
| Joining Fee | ₹9999 + GST (≈ ₹11,799) |
| Welcome Benefit | 40,000 Reward Points (worth up to ₹10,000 on eligible flight bookings) |
| Annual Fee | ₹4999 + GST (≈ ₹5,899) |
| Annual Fee Waiver | ₹10 lakh annual eligible spends |
| Renewal Benefit | 20,000 Reward Points (worth up to ₹5000 on eligible flight bookings) |
The YES BANK Marquee Credit Card carries a premium fee, but the welcome and renewal benefits help offset a significant part of the cost. New cardholders receive 40,000 Reward Points as a welcome benefit, which are worth up to ₹10,000 when redeemed for eligible flight bookings through the YES Rewardz travel portal.
On renewal, the card offers 20,000 Reward Points if the annual fee is paid. These points are worth up to ₹5000 on eligible flight bookings, effectively recovering the renewal fee. Alternatively, the annual fee is waived on eligible spends of ₹10 lakh in a membership year.
YES BANK also accepts Card-to-Card (C2C) applications for the Marquee Credit Card, making it easier for eligible applicants with a strong credit profile to get approved. The bank has also expanded its offline acquisition by setting up credit card application counters at select airports.
Keep in mind that rent and wallet loading transactions are excluded while calculating eligible spends for the annual fee waiver. In addition, transactions such as fuel, insurance, education, railways, tolls, ferries, jewellery, government payments, and select advertising spends are not eligible for earning Reward Points.
YES BANK Marquee Credit Card Rewards
| Type of Spend | Reward Points | Approx. Return* |
|---|---|---|
| Online spends (excluding select categories) | 36 Reward Points per ₹200 | 4.5% |
| Offline spends (excluding select categories) | 18 Reward Points per ₹200 | 2.25% |
| Utilities | 10 Reward Points per ₹200 | 1.25% |
| Insurance, Education, Government Services, Tax Payments, Rent, Wallet Loading, Fuel, Railways, Toll, Ferry, Jewellery, Marketing & Advertising, EMI Transactions | No Reward Points | — |
*Reward value assumes redemption for eligible flight bookings through the YES Rewardz travel portal.
The YES BANK Marquee Credit Card continues to offer one of the better base reward rates among premium credit cards. You earn a flat 4.5% return on most online spends and 2.25% on most offline spends, making it a strong option for everyday spending.
Utilities continue to earn Reward Points, albeit at a lower rate of 1.25%. However, YES BANK has significantly expanded the list of excluded categories. Transactions such as insurance, education, government payments, tax payments, rent, wallet loading, fuel, railways, tolls, ferries, jewellery, marketing and advertising, cash withdrawals and EMI conversions no longer earn any Reward Points.
For most users, the Marquee can comfortably serve as a primary spending card, especially if travel redemptions are your preferred use of Reward Points. While cards like HDFC Infinia and HDFC Diners Club Black Metal offer higher reward potential in certain categories, the Marquee remains a competitive alternative with a straightforward rewards structure.
YES BANK currently caps Reward Point earnings at 1,00,000 Reward Points per statement cycle, which is generous enough that most cardholders are unlikely to hit the limit in regular usage.
YES BANK Marquee Credit Card Reward Redemption
| Redemption Option | Redemption Value |
|---|---|
| Flights & Hotels (YES Rewardz Travel Portal) | Up to ₹0.25 per Reward Point |
| Gift Vouchers | Typically ₹0.10–₹0.15 per Reward Point (varies by brand) |
| Merchandise | Varies |
The YES BANK Marquee Credit Card offers multiple redemption options, but flight and hotel bookings through the YES Rewardz travel portal continue to deliver the best value. Here, Reward Points can be redeemed at up to ₹0.25 per point, making travel redemptions the most rewarding way to use your points.
Gift vouchers are another popular option, although the redemption value varies by brand. Most vouchers are redeemed at around ₹0.10–₹0.15 per Reward Point, so it is worth checking the catalogue before redeeming. If maximizing value is your priority, we recommend saving your Reward Points for travel bookings.
YES BANK now charges a redemption fee of ₹100 + GST per redemption request. In addition, Reward Points can be used for up to 70% of the value of flight and hotel bookings, while voucher and statement credit redemptions are limited to 50% of your available Reward Points. These are important changes to keep in mind when evaluating the card’s overall rewards program.
YES BANK Marquee Credit Card Airport Lounge Access
| Benefit | Details |
|---|---|
| Domestic Airport Lounge Access | 6 complimentary visits per quarter for primary and add-on cardholders |
| Domestic Guest Lounge Access | 2 complimentary guest visits per quarter |
| Domestic Lounge Eligibility | Spend ₹1 lakh in the previous calendar quarter |
| International Airport Lounge Access | Unlimited for primary and add-on cardholders |
Airport lounge access continues to be one of the strongest benefits of the YES BANK Marquee Credit Card. The card offers six complimentary domestic lounge visits every quarter for both primary and add-on cardholders. In addition, cardholders receive two complimentary domestic guest lounge visits every quarter.
To qualify for domestic lounge access, you must spend at least ₹1 lakh in the previous calendar quarter. From 1 April 2025, YES BANK follows the standard calendar quarter to determine eligibility.
| Spend Period | Complimentary Lounge Access |
|---|---|
| January – March | April – June |
| April – June | July – September |
| July – September | October – December |
| October – December | January – March |
For example, if you spend ₹1 lakh or more between April and June, you will receive complimentary domestic lounge access during the July to September quarter. Eligible spends exclude fee payments, reversed or cancelled transactions, rent and wallet loading transactions. YES BANK also calculates eligible spends based on the transaction settlement date, which may differ from the transaction date.
International travellers have it even better. The Marquee Credit Card offers unlimited complimentary access to participating international airport lounges for both primary and add-on cardholders, with no spend requirement. This combination of unlimited international lounge access and generous domestic lounge benefits makes the Marquee one of the strongest premium travel credit cards in its fee segment.
YES BANK Marquee Credit Card Golf Benefits
| Benefit | Details |
|---|---|
| Complimentary Green Fee Waivers | 4 rounds per calendar year |
| Complimentary Golf Lessons | 1 lesson per calendar month |
| Golf Course Availability | Varies based on whether you hold the Visa or Mastercard variant |
The YES BANK Marquee Credit Card includes complimentary golf privileges for cardholders who enjoy the sport. You receive four complimentary green fee waivers every calendar year along with one complimentary golf lesson every month.
One important point to note is that the list of participating golf courses depends on the card network. The Visa and Mastercard variants have separate golf programs and partner golf courses, so it is worth checking the latest eligible course list before planning your visit.
While the golf benefit is not as extensive as what some ultra-premium credit cards offer, it is a useful addition that complements the Marquee’s travel and lifestyle benefits.
YES BANK Marquee Credit Card BookMyShow Offer

| Benefit | Details |
|---|---|
| Offer | Buy One Get One (BOGO) on movie tickets |
| Maximum Discount | ₹800 per free ticket |
| Monthly Benefit | Up to 3 complimentary tickets per calendar month |
The YES BANK Marquee Credit Card offers one of the best movie benefits currently available on a premium credit card. Cardholders can avail a Buy One Get One (BOGO) offer on movie ticket bookings made through BookMyShow, with the discount capped at ₹800 on the free ticket.
The offer is valid on movie tickets across all days of the week and can be used for up to three complimentary tickets every calendar month. A minimum of two tickets must be booked in a single transaction to avail the benefit.
With multiplex ticket prices continuing to rise, this is a genuinely valuable perk for regular moviegoers. The ₹800 discount cap is among the highest in the market and makes the Marquee stand out from most premium credit cards that offer lower discount limits.
YES BANK Marquee Credit Card: Other Benefits & Charges
| Benefit / Charge | Details |
|---|---|
| Fuel Surcharge Waiver | 1% waiver on fuel transactions between ₹400 and ₹5000 (maximum ₹1,000 per statement cycle) |

Final Thoughts
The YES BANK Marquee Credit Card has established itself as one of the best premium credit cards in India. It combines a strong rewards program with excellent travel benefits, unlimited international airport lounge access, a low forex markup, generous movie benefits and golf privileges, making it a well-rounded option for high spenders.
While it doesn’t offer the accelerated reward ecosystem of HDFC SmartBuy, it also doesn’t require you to route your spending through a dedicated portal to earn attractive returns. The card delivers a flat 4.5% reward rate on most online spends and 2.25% on most offline spends, which is more than sufficient for users looking for a simple yet rewarding premium credit card.
The welcome benefit almost offsets the joining fee, making the first year easy to justify. From the second year onwards, the 20,000 Reward Points received on payment of the renewal fee effectively recover the annual fee. Add to that the generous BookMyShow offer, unlimited international lounge access, and 1% forex markup, and the overall value proposition becomes even stronger.
If you’re looking for your first premium credit card or want an alternative to cards like HDFC Regalia Gold, Axis Atlas or ICICI Emeralde Metal, the YES BANK Marquee Credit Card deserves serious consideration. It may not be the absolute best for maximizing rewards, but it strikes an excellent balance between rewards, travel benefits and lifestyle perks.
Yes Bank Marquee Credit Card

Now rewards conversion rates are around 0.15 INR even for Swiggy vouchers. Only for Hotel and Flight bookings it gives 0.25 INR conversion.
Dining fiesta website never works.
Now there are restrictions on online spends to fetch 36 reward points i.e valid only on travel and airlines transactions (retail purchases only with limited options). Major devaluation!!
There is no such rule on the Yes Marquee as of now.
Whats is the reward conversion rate for Amazon/Flipkart gift vouchers?
Is it 1 point = 0.25 INR ??
No, 25 paise is only for some vouchers like Swiggy. Amazon/Flipkart GVs are still at 1 RP = 10 paise.
I heard that 3rd year we don’t get renewal benefits. Can you clarify. Good card for first two years for banglore and mumbai area
Don’t see any such update on Yes Bank Marquee product page.
This would be a good addition the list of credit cards for forex spends. Its lowest base reward is 1.25% with fx of 1.17%. So returns could potentially be significantly higher depending on spends.
Yes, will add it soon 🙂
They also allow points transfer to accor ? whats the conversion rate there?
