American Express has launched its global Reward Xcelerator program in India. This is a super charged version of the Amex Reward Multiplier and has been available in other countries for some time. The new Amex Reward Xcelerator program enables 10X/20X rewards on spends with partner brands. We have several premium brands like Birkenstock, Bvlgari and Whispering Homes. The program is valid for the Centurion and Platinum Charge cards. There is no limit on the Membership Reward points you can earn with the program.

Exclusions
Some of the spends at partner brands will not be eligible for accelerated rewards.
- Purchases of Gold u0026amp; Silver coins and bar on Tata CLiQ and Tata CLiQ luxury will be excluded
- Offer is not applicable for select products and services offered at Kapoor Watch Company
Final Thoughts
If you are a Platinum or Centurion cardholder, then the Amex Reward Xcelerator adds more value for these brands if you were spending on those. For example, Tata CLiQ is a brand that is not exactly at the higher end and is used by many.
10X/20X rewards on Platinum and Centurion are quite rewarding. Hope more brands get added in the future.
